Joanie Witcher

Joanie’s singing career began in third grade when she sang her first solo for a school wide music program.  Since that time her singing career has traversed many genres of music from a cappella chorus, gospel, bluegrass, country, and southern rock to currently singing classic rock harmony and lead vocals and playing percussion in LEGACY. Her personal style of vocals and music has been greatly influenced by the tight harmonies of a cappella singing in church and by artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Eagles, and Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.  Over the last ten years she has performed as a backup singer in bands who have opened for acts including Marshall Tucker Band, Craig Morgan, Kentucky Headhunters, Exile, Daryl Worley, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, and Big and Rich.
