Music has always been a big part of my life. Being born in the sixties, with the introduction of groups like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Steppenwolf, there was always a wide variety of tunes to enjoy. My older sister was into music “big time.” Her album collection was massive and she belonged to one of those mail order clubs, so she received albums and eight track tapes often. When she was away from home, I would sneak into her room and listen to her albums. One day in the early seventies, I came across the “Pronounced” Lynyrd Skynyrd album and that was all it took for me to want to play this stuff … almost country but rocked at the same time, thus my first introduction to “southern” rock. Around the mid seventies, my friend Jeff and I decided to start a band called “Flight.” He played guitar and I played drums. We have gone through many changes during the years with many different players and still enjoy performing today with LEGACY. I think this band is comprised of the most talented and gifted musicians you could put on a stage.
